It was such a joy to finally bring Annie & Jack’s unique wedding vision to life! With special attention to every detail and personalized touches sprinkled throughout, it was a truly unforgettable evening and joyous celebration with family & friends.
The couple exchanged vows atop the Mountain Grove Ceremony site at Mt. Ida Lodge. A long white aisle runner and gorgeous low lying floral arrangements by Allan Woods Flowers were the perfect complement to the breathtaking backdrop – 360° of unobstructed, mesmerizing mountain views!
The luxurious touches and “wow moments” continued as guests made their way to cocktail hour. They were greeted by an expansive bar located in front of Mount Ida’s gorgeous main entrance; making guests feel welcomed, appreciated and that their presence was truly valued. The couple selected several unique pieces from Paisley & Jade’s furniture collection that sparked imagination and conversation. Beautiful custom signage for their seating chart, food action stations and bar displays added a luxurious touch… and a celebrity guest appearance of Annie & Jack’s beloved Cat on beverage napkins left a lasting impression.
Annie & Jack expressed their desire throughout the planning and design process to provide an extraordinary experience for their guests, while exercising an abundance of caution in order to preserve everyone’s health and well-being, making many decisions along the way in order to keep everyone as safe as possible. With their original wedding date in 2020 being postponed to their new date in 2021, this was a top priority for the couple and their families. So in response to the growing concern with the resurgence of Covid, the executive decision was made (just three weeks before wedding day) to pivot away from utilizing the venue’s existing space entirely and construct a 100% open air environment on their property. It was an extraordinary undertaking to say the least! A feat that required innovation and expertise and was made possible by the swift action and determination of our planning team. The overall design, construction and production of the tents by Loane Bros. took a total of 1 week to complete. Every minute of the day mattered for our team as their wedding date quickly approached. We knew that it would take an army, and it was beyond glorious to see how their entire team really came together to make it all happen for Annie and Jack.
Did you know? In order to have the tent level and safely elevated on the ground’s landscaping, one portion of the tent rested 7.5 ft above ground level!
Annie and Jack were especially attuned to creating an atmosphere with all the feels! They enjoyed an elaborate plated meal from The Catering Outfit with nods to their family travels and personal comforts. All of their linens, lace and runners were custom made by Interior Design Consultants, their families interior designer for years. Lighting and ambiance were a major point of focus in setting the stage for a magical evening with their guests. The clear top tents and ambient lighting features provided by John Farr Lighting Design enhanced the natural beauty of their surroundings and showcased the vibrant transformation of the sky as day turned to night.
