We are so happy to share our recent Blooms & Brunch Event hosted by Christine with Silver Orchard Creative at Fathom Gallery in Georgetown! This annual event is intended to celebrate Christine’s past and future photography couples by creating a space to bond and share special moments together.
Christine truly let her creativity run free to create a memorable experience for her couples. Partnered with our team, we collaborated with local vendors to create a Make your Own Mimosa Bar and Whiskey Tasting Experience, Angelica & Co Inspiration Table, Raffles to win prizes, and a stunning floral installation and flower by by Springvale Floral where couples could make their own bouquets!
As a fun demonstration of our design services, our team created a dream tablescape with dual sides to show off some of our different personalities in a tablescape! We were so in love with both designs that we couldn’t do just one!
For our first look, we created an elegant table setting with a Portland Ivory linen from Select Event Group. The smoke glassware and tusk champagne flatware we chose added decorative harmony to the table, creating a dreamy and romantic feeling.
Tablescape #2 had a bit more of a funky flare, with this gorgeous Painter’s Palette linen from Select Event Group stealing the show! We complimented the variety of artistic colors with these indigo glasses and shadowy flatware. This tablescape was a big reminder to have fun and break out of the box every once in a while!
Kory with Springvale Floral created this gorgeous Flower Bar full of a range of blooms in season for attendees to choose from, showing them how to build a wedding bouquet! There is just something about flowers that really brings people together!
Delicious brunch food and drink were provided by Christine’s mom Kathy, who pulled out all the stops to cook homemade quiches, casseroles and yogurt parfaits! There was an exquisite bubbly bar with fresh orange, peach and passionfruit juice for guests to sip and enjoy!
As guests meandered around all of the vendor stations, they were able to place raffle tickets in bowls to enter to win prizes from each vendor. The raffle was such a great way to connect with each couple and leave them walking away with something special!
Christine’s husband, Ryan, set up a fantastic whiskey tasting bar for guests to interact with. He educated guests on the different types of Whiskey and the various distillation processes that create unique flavor profiles and alcohol strengths. Tasting notes were provided for guests to take notes on their reactions to different bottles of Irish, Scottish and American whiskey. Our favorite was Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine with Peaches, a sweet option at the end to tie them all together!
After the raffle and festivities, Christine held mini portrait sessions with Springvale Floral installations as a backdrop to capture the beautiful couples who attended!
We had such an amazing time celebrating with Christine and creating this one of a kind event! Our team loves to think outside of the box on creative ways to bring people together for any occasion! We absolutely loved being a part of this and can’t wait for next year!
