All too often you see our couples dressed in their finest wedding day attire, but when do you see then in all of their pre-wedding day glory?
Well, friends, that time is NOW!
We’re officially just over 2 months away from celebrating Maggie and Trey’s wedding at the InterContinental Hotel on the Wharf in December. There are so many beautiful things in store for their day but, for now, we’re sharing with you a few favorites from their engagement session!
They decided to take advantage of one of Washington, DC’s gems— the Kennedy Center! It’s a picturesque backdrop for classically gorgeous photos.
Pro Tip: One of the benefits of having an engagement session is getting comfortable with your wedding photographer!
Maggie and Trey were able to meet with their wedding photographer, Cassie from Hannah Bjorndal Photography, and get more comfortable in front of her camera. To all couples out there, if you have the time, I highly recommend having a photo session with your wedding photographer BEFORE wedding day for this very reason! You’ll learn what poses do and don’t work well for you, you’ll figure out what kind of angles make you the most comfortable, and your photographer will be able to guide you through your natural body movements with better ease come wedding day.
Just a title food for thought, friends!
