When three creative partners get together you know it’s going to be a great time!
Fun Fact: Kir Tuben Photography, Cedar & Lime Collective and I threw this styled shoot together in three days!
I guess that’s proof that when there’s a will there’s a way!
Haley with Cedar & Lime Collective was generously gifted buckets of extra darling dahlia’s from Grateful Gardeners, an organic flower farm in Montgomery County, Maryland. After all, tis the season! Knowing us, we just couldn’t let those gorgeous blooms go to waste. So, what did we do? We threw the idea out to the universe to give these dahlia’s a second life and turn them into the focal point for our styled shoot— A Romantic European Inspired Pink Color Story.
Once I saw so many glorious shades of pinks, I knew exactly the direction I wanted to go. I’ve recently been really into utilizing the same color in as many different shades as possible. There’s just something really stunning to me about telling an entire color story by using all of it’s different shades and adding all of the lush textures. So that’s exactly what I did!
Captured by the forever talented Kir Tuben, we showcased our impromptu vision with a soft, delicate, and romantic European-inspired way with most things we found in our own personal homes. That’s the beauty of design; it’s all in the details…but those details and inspiration can strike anywhere and from anything.
Enjoy, friends!
