On December 12th, 2023, Angelica & Co, in collaboration with Zandi Entertainment, hosted a spectacular Christmas party at the enchanting Birkby House in Leesburg, Virginia. This gathering wasn’t just a Holiday party; it was a heartfelt thank you to all the industry professionals who had become more than just colleagues – they have been a supportive community that makes everyone’s dreams come true!
What set this celebration apart was the unity of professionals from diverse event industry categories. Photographers, videographers, entertainers, stationers, planners, caterers, florists – professionals from every niche came together. This event was a testament to the collaborative spirit that defines the events industry, showcasing the interconnectedness of talents that make dreams come true.
Birkby House, with its historic charm, became the canvas for a breathtaking winter wonderland. Zandi Entertainment, Angelica & Co, and Birkby House collaborated seamlessly to transform the venue into an enchanting space. Twinkling lights, lush greenery, and elegant Christmas decorations adorned every corner, creating an ambiance that resonated with the warmth and spirit of the holiday season.
The Christmas celebration kicked off with an enchanting “Merry Mingle” inside Birkby House, setting the tone for a festive evening of joy and camaraderie. As guests arrived, they were greeted by the sight of the beautifully adorned venue, with every corner aglow in the warm embrace of festive decorations.
Angelica & Co’s vision came to life as we partnered with BBJ La Tavola and Select Event Group to elevate the event’s atmosphere with gorgeous linens and fabrics. The historic home became a winter wonderland, with carefully selected linens and fabrics enhancing the charm of every space. This thoughtful partnership not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal of Birkby House but also set the stage for a night filled with elegance and holiday cheer. The Merry Mingle became a memorable introduction to an evening that celebrated the spirit of the season in a beautifully decorated and welcoming historic setting.
Upon arrival, guests were greeted by the warm ambiance of festive decorations and the harmonious voices of carolers provided by Zandi Entertainment. The historic home came alive with the joyful melodies of holiday carols, creating a magical and immersive experience.
Paisley & Jade, a specialty rental company based in Richmond, played a pivotal role in transforming our Christmas celebration at Birkby House into a visually stunning and inviting space! Their contribution went beyond mere furnishings as they provided custom bars and lounge furniture that added a touch of elegance and comfort to the venue.
Our collaboration took the design to the next level, with Paisley & Jade installing bar panels adorned with a custom Christmas pattern crafted by Oh Eleven Studio. This resulted in a seamless fusion of functionality and aesthetics, where every piece of furniture, from the stylish custom bars to the inviting lounge areas, contributed to the overall ambiance. The Christmas-themed pattern on the bar panels added a delightful festive touch, tying together the entire look and creating a cohesive visual experience. Paisley & Jade’s expertise in event rentals brought a unique and captivating element to the celebration, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.
Angelica & Co took the design to the next level by curating a breathtaking sequined pattern linen tablescape inside of Birkby’s Glass Conservatory. The tables were adorned with linens from BBJ La Tavola featuring a gorgeous sequined overlay with a midnight navy linen underneath, providing a touch of glamour and sophistication. The color palette we chose included black, gold, and navy blue, creating a harmonious blend that complemented the festive theme.
Touches of black added a sense of modern elegance, gold brought in a luxurious and celebratory feel, while a marigold runner by BBJ La Tavola introduced a pop of warmth and vibrancy. The carefully curated tablescape showcased the meticulous attention to detail in the design process, ensuring that every element seamlessly contributed to the overall look and feel of the celebration.
Haley with Cedar & Lime Collective made a stunning contribution to the overall aesthetic of the Christmas celebration by providing gorgeous, vibrant winter florals and an assortment of colorful candle tapers. Patricia with Oh Eleven Studio, a modern stationer & calligrapher, brought a touch of enchantment to the celebration with their custom menus and paper signage. Each creation was a testament to her meticulous attention to detail and commitment to infusing every element with festive spirit. The custom menus were works of art, beautifully designed to complement the holiday theme, featuring seasonal motifs and elegant typography.
The paper pieces, ranging from place cards to festive signage, were adorned with intricate details that captivated the eye. What truly set Oh Eleven Studio‘s work apart was the thoughtful addition of bows with guests’ names, a personal and charming touch that added warmth and individuality to each piece. On stage, Romin from Zandi Entertainment, Angelica, and Megan and Carleigh with Birkby House collectively expressed gratitude to everyone present.
