Laney and Caitlin are the type of people that just make you feel good. You know that no matter what happens in between your first introductions together to the very last smile you exchange with them that day, it’s all sincere and heartfelt.

Their wedding day was no exception to that wonderfulness and I am so grateful to have been a part of such magical times with them and their people.

Color was the resounding theme for these ladies. With them getting married at the start of Pride month, they wanted to be sure their love (and all others!) was felt colorfully and proud. Cait and Laney’s florals by Hedge Fine Blooms were the perfect balance between playful and classic to help showcase their already gorgeous selves.

As another point of inspiration for their wedding design, we brought in one of the couples all time favorite past times. Bring on the beer! They love going to breweries together, both nearby and farther away. Over the years, they’ve grown their growler collection so extensively that we decided to incorporate them their day.

What better way that using them as decor accents for their escort display? With their help, guests found their way to their seats for dinner at their clear top tented reception.

Their garden style venue, The Market at Grelen, is a hidden gem outside of Charlottesville. For those who know it, visit it often and love it dearly. It is the perfect plant-lovers oasis that combines epic scenic views and calming greenhouse vibes all in one. Aside from the stunning backdrop it provides, it undoubtedly lends itself to house so super sentimental moments like first looks and private moments together before their ceremony.

Blue is indeed the warmest color, and it was the star of the show for Cait and Laney’s tented wedding reception. We chose rich summer jewel tones to pair with it as a symbol that all things bright and cheery happen during the month of Pride. Family style tables of both rectangular and rounds housed the seating for their guests to enjoy a deliciously perfect meal by Serendipity Catering.

Everyone loved dining under the stars with the clear top tent! It is an absolute must have to soak in the setting summer sun.

Ladies, thank you endlessly for including our team in the celebration of a lifetime. Your love was palpable and the feelings from your day I will remember for the rest of my life.
