There are many moments in my life when I’ve had “couple crushes”— and Sam and Josh are definitely one of them! There was just something about the ease of our first few interactions together where I felt like they were just “my kind of people”. It was easy from the beginning, stayed smooth in the middle, and we continued to stay strong all the way through the end!

Like most couples, they knew a few things about what they wanted for their wedding. Purple was the brides favorite color and they loved the industrial vibe their venue had to offer in Baltimore’s beautiful Charm City. The rest of the details revolved around those main focuses with an unexpected sweet surprise for them at the very end!

Though their families both are from the Maryland area, this couple is Boston-based. Planning their wedding from afar, they knew they needed the help of a wedding and event planner to help pull their day together flawlessly.

In true ACW fashion we took a few details that they lit up about the most and really let them shine! With Sam’s favorite color being purple, I knew that was an absolute must-have to incorporate throughout the wedding day design. But as with most wedding plans, the best ideas are usually developed slowly along the way. For anyone who understands a creatives’ mind, you know how it goes…one idea bleeds into another and the snowball effect continues from there. Her love of purple paired gorgeously with her florists new rose gold vases and candles and, before we knew it, we had geniusly struck creative-gold!

But all colors aside, there was something else up this couples sleeves that they knew was another must-have for their day. Desserts!

In fact, desserts were so much of a focus for them it’s what provoked the bride to contact the ACW team in the first place! She had seen one of our awe-inspiring dessert displays for a styled shoot we created at her venue earlier that year. Right then and there she knew we were the ones— but little did we know Sam and Josh would also be perfect matches for us as well!
