As I head into the first wedding of my 2020 wedding season it’s hard not to look back at one of my last weddings of 2019.
Claire and Sean’s wedding was full of all of their favorite things…and people! Growing up, I was always a lover of sunflowers. So, naturally, when I heard the bride’s wedding inspiration was filled with one of my favorite flowers from the sun I knew it would be a great day. One of their close friends, Derek, crafted custom bouquets for Claire and all of her girls. They were bright, bold, and beautiful— just like all of her bridesmaids different dresses!
When I asked Claire and Sean what their priorities were for their wedding day, they both said it was important that they be present throughout their day. That meant spending as much quality time with their favorite people as possible. So, they kept their ceremony short and sweet, did a first look beforehand, and were ready to join their guests for cocktail hour before dinner. It was perfectly them!
B. Lin Catering served up an absolutely delicious comforting meal which was the perfect fuel for the night of dancing they had ahead. Kelton Higgins kept the floor full and just when you thought the night couldn’t get any more perfect…the brides homemade Bundt cake was cut and the most scrumptious cake was served!
